A 24-year-old Royal Navy serviceman, Teddy Young, has been charged under the UK’s National Security Act following his arrest by counter-terrorism police. The charges against Young include allegations of acquiring information that may benefit a foreign power.

The arrest took place on October 6 at Young’s residence in Bedfordshire, stemming from an ongoing investigation led by Counter Terrorism Policing London (CTPL).
