When my father turned to me for help, it was a rare moment that spoke volumes about our relationship. He doesn’t easily seek assistance, yet he chose to trust me. This act of faith was not just a request; it was a testament to his belief in my abilities.

Our bond is built on shared passions, from a love for cheesecake and the Geelong football club to our mutual adoration for my mother. We also share an expectation: that we should excel at everything on our first attempt. No practice, no second chances.

This mindset was instilled in me from a young age. My father encouraged my brilliance, turning our car rides into spelling competitions and math challenges. By the time I was ready for school, I had already created a library of my own “published” works, complete with copyright details.
