The ongoing conflict in Yemen has escalated dramatically, with recent clashes on the western coast resulting in over 60 fatalities, including innocent bystanders. This surge in violence is attributed to a renewed offensive by the Iran-aligned Houthi rebel group against the Saudi-backed government forces.
According to military and medical sources, the intense fighting on Saturday led to the deaths of 26 government soldiers and 31 Houthi militants in the country’s southwest. Tragically, a missile attack also struck a bus in Taiz, claiming the lives of six civilians and leaving seven others injured.
