Access to the port of Dover has returned to normal following a significant protest that caused road closures in both directions early Saturday. A large group of individuals, clad in black and wearing balaclavas, obstructed the road, leading to disruptions for travelers and transport services.
Kent police were on-site to monitor the situation and communicated with the protesters, which the Port of Dover later classified as a “public order incident.” Despite the tense atmosphere, no arrests were reported. The demonstration has been linked to an anti-immigration group affiliated with far-right ideologies.
